Phase 1 of the Rays of Hope project includes the construction of three classroom buildings - named Ray 1, Ray 4 and Ray 5 - along with essential structures including an office building, WC and water tank, road, fence, and electricity facilities. The inclusion of these particular structures in Phase 1 is in line with Thai government requirements for the establishment of a legally registered school, and will provide space for up to 300 students. Fundraising is taking place from 2025 to 2026, with construction set to take place from 2026 to 2027. The school is projected to open for its first academic year in May 2028.

Phase 2 of the Rays of Hope project includes the construction of a large center building, and one additional classroom - the Ray 3 building - together significantly expanding the capacity available for student enrollment. Phase 2 also includes construction of a car park space for teachers and visitors. Fundraising is ongoing from 2025 with construction set to take place in 2029.

Phase 3 of the Rays of Hope project includes the Hall, the second largest building on the site. The hall will be a central space for events, meetings, and classes. An additional two classrooms - Ray 2 and Ray 6 - will provide space for a further 120 students in four classrooms, expanding the school’s capacity and students start to move up through the Grade levels. Construction is planned for 2030, after which Rays of Hope will have space for up to 560 students.

Phase 4 of the Rays of Hope project features the preparation of a football field. Sport plays a significant role in the culture of both Thailand and Myanmar, with children from both countries taking part in international sports as well as more traditional games. Including this field on the school site will help to keep students healthy - both physically and mentally - while also providing space for outdoor activities and inter-school events.

With your help, we are not just constructing a school — we are building a future. One phase at a time, your support brings hope, safety, and opportunity to hundreds of children who have been displaced by conflict and hardship.
